Commercial interiors for the Carolina Foothills
Spaces that feel like somewhere rather than anywhere.
RedLeaf Studio Co. is an interior design studio in Shelby, North Carolina, designing restaurants, cafes, breweries, boutiques and small workplaces for the people who own and run them.
Perspective
Designed to create an experience. Built to perform.
Character
Locally sourced furniture, restored antiques and custom pieces give each space a character of its own.
Performance
Every plan is built around your budget, your schedule and how the space has to work day to day.
Wellbeing
Healthy design is woven into every project, so the space supports the comfort, wellbeing and productivity of the people who use it.
Services
From the first sketch to opening day
I can take on a single phase or the whole project. I work with business owners, real estate investors, and design and architecture firms that need another designer on a project.
Concept and design
Every space is built around how it will be used, by your team, your guests or your renters, from the first concept through finishes, fixtures and furniture.
- Concept development
- Space planning
- Design development: finishes, fixtures, schedules and drawings
- Furniture specification
- Vacation and midterm rental design
Documents and construction
The drawings your contractor prices and builds from, and a design partner through construction, right up until the doors open.
- Interior construction documents
- Construction administration
- Coordination with your architect and contractor
Custom pieces and sourcing
This is the finishing layer of your space: pieces designed for it and made by skilled fabricators in wood, metal and leather, plus the antiques, art and accessories that give it a story.
- Custom millwork design
- Custom furniture and casegoods design
- Build coordination with fabricators
- Restored and antique pieces sourced for the project
- Art and accessories: sourcing, curation and installation
Planning and wellbeing
Help before, beside and beyond the design work. Each service is available on its own or as part of a full project, including when another designer or architect leads the design.
- Project management
- Growth and phasing plans: preparing your space for expansion, reconfiguration or downsizing
- WELL consulting: design that supports the health and wellbeing of the people in a space
